Getting 120 folks to cooperate for a team photo is a challenge. People are absent; players come and go; and there’s a whole bunch of goofy faces being made.

Our retouchers go through each exposure to find replacements for those with closed eyes or turned heads. For those that are missing in the shot altogether, we use someone else’s body, change the jersey number, stick the player’s head shot on top, and adjust the lighting so it matches. Or, we pull them from a previous year’s team shot if it’s available.

The team shot is taken at the Browns’ practice facility in Berea. But the end result must have the team in front of their stadium downtown.
